The "Pacts for Employment and/or Social Inclusion" is an initiative targeting the beneficiaries of the Citizenship Income, requiring them to engage in activities in their municipality for at least 8 hours a week, extendable up to 16. The Municipal Administration has launched various projects in areas such as the environment, social issues, protection of common goods, and culture, sometimes collaborating with Third Sector Entities. Among these, the Trevessu association presented the "Bibliocabina Project", approved by the Municipality of Iglesias in 2021.
The "Bibliocabina Project" aims to strengthen the social inclusion plan by involving participants in educational and practical activities. These activities include teaching the use of computers and social media as communicative and promotional tools for the project. The lessons were structured into three two-hour sessions, following a specific program:
This project not only provided technical skills to the participants but also opened new perspectives for their social and professional integration, demonstrating the effectiveness of using social media in promoting community initiatives.
